The Dream Catcher

 

For my 4th project we had to work on a scratchboard so I wanted to do a dream catcher because of the texture of the frame of the catcher and the feathers seems interesting to draw.

 

 

the recreation of La Confidence

For my third project our theme was recreating a famous portrait. The portrait I recreated is called la confidence by Elizabeth Jane Gardner. I recreated thee portrait by using markers.

In my second project our objective was perspective drawing in my drawing I tried to do a two point drawing of a city but obviously I did a poor job of shading the buildings.

In my first project I made 2 hearts out of around 1200 thumbtacks. Each heart represents part of my culture how I'm American but I'm pure Jamaican also.

 

 

Gatorade

For my final drawing I drew a Gatorade bottle from markers.

In this drawing I went back to drawing on black paper with charcoal pencil this time I drew a clear mason jar glass with water in it.

In this drawing I wanted to worked with markers so I did a simple apple to try to work on my blending skills.

 

my hand

This was my second attempt at drawing my hand but this time I tried a more simpler hand position by just placing my hand on some notebook. Again I tried to blend by markers to make a more skin tone look.

This drawing was supposed to be my hand holding my phone but I had trouble mixing the markers to make the right color blend for my hand.

My third drawing is a pineapple that was also made on black paper with a charcoal pencil.

The second bottle I drew was a large green bottle, I drew the bottle on black paper with a charcoal pencil.

For my first observation drawing I drew a water bottle I found on the desk and I used a wooded stick and some ink to out line it. After I outline the water bottle I filled in the  water bottle with a dark indigo blue color.
